Dr. Wei-keng Liao is a Research Professor in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Northwestern University, USA. His research interests are in the area of high-performance computing, parallel I/O, data mining, and data management for large-scale scientific applications. He received a Ph.D. in computer and information science from Syracuse University in 1999.
