Tianyin Xu is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC). His research interests lie broadly in Computer Systems, with a focus on system reliability. Tianyin Xu received the Ph.D. degree from Computer Science and Engineering at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD). Before joining UIUC, he worked as a Visiting Scientist in the Core Systems team at Facebook.
