Valentine G. Anantharaj received the B. Sc. degree in Physics from Madurai Kamaraj University in India in 1979, the M.S. degree in Meteorology from the South Dakota School of Mines and Technology in 1990, and the Ph.D. in computational engineering from Mississippi State University in 2010. He is currently affiliated with the National Center for Computational Science at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory. His recent research interests are centered on exascale computing & data analytics, scalable scientific workflows, life cycle management of scientific data, and machine learning in earth observation and modeling.
