SUMMARY:H2RC – Introduction: Sixth International Workshop on Heterogeneous
  High-Performance Reconfigurable Computing
DESCRIPTION:Workshop\n\nH2RC – Introduction: Sixth International Workshop
on Heterogeneous High-Performance Reconfigurable Computing\n\nO'Brien, Bak
os, Plessl, Hoefler, Cappello\n\nAs in the previous five years, this works
hop will bring together application experts, software developers and hardw
are engineers, both from industry and academia, to share experiences and b
est practices to leverage the practical application of reconfigurable logi
c to scientific computing, machine/deep learning, and “Big Data” applicati
ons. In particular, the workshop will focus on sharing experiences and tec
hniques for accelerating applications and/or improving energy efficiency w
ith FPGAs using OpenCL, OpenMP, OpenACC, SYCL, DPC++, C, C++ and other hig
h-level design flows, which enable and improve cross-platform functional a
nd performance portability while also improving productivity. Particular e
mphasis is given to cross-platform comparisons and combinations that foste
r a better understanding within the industry and research community on wha
t are the best mappings of applications to a diverse range of hardware arc
hitectures available today (e.g., FPGA, GPU, many-cores and hybrid devices
, ASICs), and on how to most effectively achieve cross-platform compatibil
ity.\n\nTag: Accelerators, FPGA, and GPUs, Architectures, Emerging Technol
ogies, Heterogeneous Systems, Reconfigurable Computing\n\nRegistration Cat
